Actually, you are. You're dependant on Ben Roethlisberger. If he has the game he had last week against a good team, you lose. If he has the game he had against the Jets the last time they played them, and the game he had against the Giants, you lose. Unfortunately, the Jets are a fraud team and the Giants suck. All three of those games SHOULD have been losses. But unlike the Patriots in Miami, the Steelers sucked it up and got the job done at the end. Besides that, the Steelers depend on Bettis/Staley. If they don't run well, the Steelers lose. Ben Roethlisberger has never been put in a position where the game depended on him. Do you really want to see that happen for the first time against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game? And yes, the Steelers have talked a TON of shit. That is their nature. That is how they do things. Always has been and always will be. Stats mean a TON. That is how teams approach a game. All five of those stats have EXTREMELY high amounts of signifigance. Erase the three turnovers in the first quarter, time of posession shifts and 21 points come off the board, and the Patriots probably win. In that game, for once, they weren't prepared for life without Corey Dillon. Then Matt Light went down. Sorry, when you've got two backups in at the tackle position, I don't care who you're playing, shits not going to be easy, let alone against a Steelers defense that, big stat here, ranked first in the NFL. Joey Porter had a field day, more stats: three sacks and a forced fumble. Matt Light will be there Sunday, and fully healed. That's going to make a small difference. We'll see how it all plays out, but with Corey Dillon this time around, I really, REALLY like my chances.
