They're extremely talented musicians but their music is just boring. Every single song sounds exactly the same and so does every other riff. Their entire set sounded like 1 extra long riff accompanied by the occasional guitar solo. The whole sound was just very static, and never really progressed or developed into anything at all. Not to mention nothing that they attempted to do wasn't done by At the Gates 10 years ago. living proof that just because you're a good musician doesn't mean you can write good songs. |
