I have been thinking about buying an 8-12 track hard drive digital recorder lately and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I would like to find something that records at 24 bit with a cdr drive. So far the best candidate seems to be the Korg D1200 mk II. Thanks.

we recorded Sexual Intercopse in our basement on an Akai 16 track in our old basement. It was really hard to get a decent sound out of it. I recommend just buying something for your computer to record instead of a digital recorder.

I own a korg d16 and they are very easy to use. If you take the time to learn how to record you will get a decent quality recording. check out this site for more info http://www.korgstudios.com/
