I have high hopes for the new VADER coming in a few days, and the new Immortal out soon...also yet to hear new Marduk and Shining. Way out of place but I'm digging the new Animal Collective. Also I picked up the reissue/remaster of Primordial's first album Imrama and it's fucking great but that doesn't count. Absu S/T is backed, still listening. Engram slays, I can't believe a traditional black metal bludgeoning like that can still make such an impact. Might be at the top of the list at year's end. |
