| _________________________________________________ [Apr 27,2005 9:50am - the_taste_of_cigarettes ""] MBTA Directions / Public Transportation: Take the red-line to either Harvard square or Alewife. From Alewife, go up the stairs and take the #79 bus to the corner of mass ave and pleasant/mystic st. From Harvard it is the same thing but you take the #77 bus. You will know this intersection as it is a major one and there is a big white church on your left hand corner, and the jefferson cutter house/wood and strings is on your right. Walk down Mystic St for one block and you will see Winslow St and the KoC on your Left. By Bike: take the Cambridge Minuteman Trail all the way into Arlington Center. When you come out by Carbury's / Steve's house of Pizza, go across the street to where Wood and Strings is. Take a right onto Mystice St, and Winslow is your first left in between the islands. By Car: Take Rte 2 to Rte 60 (exit 59) and go down 60 till you hit the major intersection with Mass Ave. There is a set of lights and a big white church on your left, and you will have JUST passed a graveyard on your left as well, and a verizon building. Go straight through the lights and take your first left through the islands onto Winslow St. The KoC is right there. also from 95 you can connect to Rte 2. And from 93 you can connect to Rte 60, but at that point you are in medford and you are coming from the opposite direction. Take Rte 60 towards Arlington (it's either North or West, so NOT south or east). You will come to two rotaries directly after one another. One of them says "Medford" in flowers I think, but you will have just passed a pizza joint on your left and in front of you will be a park with a bank across the street from it. Take a Right at the second rotary and you will be on Mystic Valley Parkway. You will hit a set of lights -- this is the intersection with Mystic St. In front of you will be a Gulf station and to your left will be the Community Safety Building. Take a left onto Mystic St, and follow it straight for about 2-3 blocks. Right after ther DSS building take a right. This is Winslow St. |

I won't even list all the things that went wrong but it includes the police and the fire department. Apparently it is lost on people just how much work Alex and myself put into making this show happen. This is, by far, THE most well promoted show I could have done. I tried to make sure every man woman and child knew about it. Stil, I imagine I can always do more. oh well, time for slumber. |
