| ___________________________________ [Jul 26,2004 1:09am - Jellyfish ""] a few years ago my friend saw bad luck 13 and they had bats with barbed wire and ladders and they were throwing them out into the crowd and people were hitting each other and blood was everywhere and they would stop playing if there wasnt fighting. I guess they dont like normal pits, they like you to hit each other as hard as possible and then kick each other when on the ground. 8 people were wicked injured at the show and hospitalized, everyone had at least a swollen eye. This guy i was friends with was huge and boxed and was a bouncer at a bar so he liked to fight and get rough but he still came home with his eye swollen shut, 4 broken knuckles and cuts everywhere. I enjoy the music but would never attend a show. Its just beyond ridiculous. |

| __________________________________ [Jul 26,2004 9:53am - succubus ""] a thing the rev has not mentioned yet is that they took away ALL photo/media passes day 3..but rev and i convinced them to let us in with all our gear anyhow...anyhow i saw way too many bloody noses black eyes and a lot of other stuff..and that took the cake..so i told the rev that I did not want to have to deal with running around and dealing with the crowd trying to take photos and lugging all that weight...it was a really tiring long weekend and the fact the thursday night i barely slept 3 hours and then the rest of the nights it was the same....so after hanging out for a bit...i left...sucks that i missed some bands i really wanted to see..but oh well..too bad it was so poorly organized...i would have prefered a photo pit to having to stand on the side of the stage especially when there were more specatators standing on it than photographers...anyhow...when you are looking through the_reverend's day 3 pics..realize all that he did running around and getting his way up front...on his own....oh and thanks to BYD singer!! he rules |
