I never knew why, and it appears that no one is sure. Hey John, that Deicide / Cancer show at Babyhead, was that the one where the mike died even before the first note? I remember the whole band standing there and the whole crowd impatiently waiting for that fat sound guy to fix the mike. It took like 3-5 minutes of total awkwardness before the mike got fixed. Shit, I remember Glenn just saying "suicide sacrifice" and the whole fucking place exploded. The slamming went all the way back to the bathrooms. I figured that everyone was so geared up from seeing the band and having to wait, that everyone just went crazy at the first note. I'm pretty sure it was the show with Cancer. |
