You should have taken the over on "Number of times Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will make BobNOMAAMRooney say fuck"

You probably would have won on the over even if the game consisted of that solitary play on the Steeler's last drive where he bit on a fucking pump fake and completely fucking peeled off Holmes to... I don't even know, fucking rush Roethlisberger? Move up to break up a pass to Parker in the flat (even though he wasn't in the flat)? And completely ignoring the fact that there wasn't a single fucking Steeler reciever aside from Holmes near him and the pass was obviously fucking going to Holmes. But it was cool that the safety had to break off his zone coverage and help while Rodgers-Cromartie just fucking rushed upfield like a fucking asshole and wasn't able to do shit when his safety help slipped because Rodgers-Cromartie was about 10 yards from the fucking play, looking the other fucking way.

I'd be willing to make another bet; Rodgers-Cromartie could't cover Stephen Hawking on a slant route with the drummer from Def Leppard under center.

He also has the dumbed fucking surname in the NFL, I wish his dad followed the fine tradition of black men and left his baby momma so I wouldn't have to type that double-barreled shit out.

Well, at least I got the Steelers score right, 27. i had the cards at 17. I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those meddeling cardinals!

anyone else think it's retarded that the media is calling the warner to harrison TAINT one of the greatest plays in super bowl history? that play was less about harrison being awesome and more about the cardinals being completely inept. harrison is a great player but i think most high school jv teams would've found a way to tackle him on that play. as good as the steelers blocks were during that play, the cardinals just looked foolish. calling that an amazing play is like saying the giants were amazing on scott norwood's missed FG.

like tom brady said, espn is the mtv of sports. last night they were running dow their top 10 plays in super bowl history and three plays, including the aforementioned TAAINT play, made their top 10. #2 was tyree's helmet catch last year and #1 was the holmes catch this year. how in the hell was the titans being stopped on the 1 yard line not named the most amazing play in super bowl history?

i meant "down" not "dow" and meant three plays from this year's super bowl made the top 10.

Two things:

1. Anybody else notice that no matter how many incredible plays Larry Fitzgerald made, whenever they cut to his father the guy had NO reaction whatsoever. That's your son in the superbowl you dumb ape.

2. The NFL's explanation of the official's robbing the Cardinals of a last play was that a "replay assistant" reviewed the play and determined it was a fumble. Well shit, why don't we let the "replay assistant" call the entire fucking game? Have you ever heard of a replay assistant nullifying a review, much less one that would determine the fucking Superbowl? This is absolute bullshit and a slap in the face to anyone who invested their time in watching this game.

Aside from the koala getting punched this was the highlight of the superbowl.

yeah, that fumble call may have ruined football for me. the officials in the nfl get worse and worse every year, and not just in the super bowl. they might as well give tim donaghy a job if they're still going to employ all the current refs.

Rodgers-Cromartie will be good someday, but that day definitely wasn't last night. I think he might have been starting only because of an injury, then again I might be thinking of Leodis McKelvin.

The Cardinals need a new defensive backs coach, or maybe a new defensive coordinator altogether. Their whole secondary tackles like a bunch of punters. It's really pathetic.

dumbass peter king is calling last night's game the greatest super bowl ever. wasn't it just a year ago that the giants beating the patriots was considered the best super bowl ever? does the super bowl really get better every year? how is a game that was boring as fuck for 2.5 quarters and ended with a climax-killing botched fumble call the best super bowl ever? if that's the case, than the super bowl in a historical context is lame.
