At the 6:48 mark, hell yes.

Sounds like someone stumbled into Blackwater Park, LuLz.

More Opeth worship, but too bad the clean vocals are weak.

In Mourning is musically good and the death vocals are solid, but the cleans leave a lot to be desired. Still worthy of your time, if you're into this style.

They have the same vocals as the ep? They changed the vocalist on the 1st album an ep.

Are you talking about Ikuinen? Yeah, their clean vocals aren't too bad, no Akerfeldt but far better than In Mourning's.

Yes. They had a vocalist on the forlorn which was decent. I didn't like the one they had on the ep. The new album must have that guy.

the last 2 minutes of "Grace" off of "The Forlorn" is PERFECT.

BTW... the newest In Mourning album is pretty awesome and i didnt really get an "Opeth nut hugger" vibe from it at all.

Heard the new one?
Haven't yet, but the forlorn still plays every now and then. especially that sing "fall"

for some reason now i can view embedded youtube videos so i was finally able to hear this, pretty good stuff. my biggest issue is that the parts aren't interesting enough to be drawn out as long as they are. the melodies are killer, but it doesn't grab me the way i had hoped. i won't dismiss it though, i'd like to hear the full albums in the right environment. i remember not liking Opeth all that much when i first heard them in like 99, but now they are one of my favorite bands. i think it's the song "Closure" that sounds like Sauron of Decapitated is singing.

the album that "closure" is off of is more Opeth-like than the album before it, "the forlorn". "The Forlorn" is a lot more black metal and doesn't have clean vocals and STILL gets heavy play time from me. the atmosphere on it is incredible.

the new one is good, but it's a really particular mood kind of good. like... you need to be in the right mindset and be able to take it all in and just chill. The Forlorn is still way better, but it's worth a couple listens at the very least.
