_______________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 10:34am - the_reverend ""] I drove it once in 1996. and W3, if you don't get my reference, you are the fail. |
_________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 10:45am - xmikex ""] I know a guy who drove from Quincy to Key West, and in an effort to save money, bought 2 pounds of ham to eat for sandwiches on the road. Needless to say, unrefrigerated for a 1,600 mile trip, that ham wasn't very good for very long. |
_______________________________ [Feb 23,2009 10:48am - Yeti ""] hahahahahahaha what a douche. what is this "cooler" you speak of? |

_______________________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 12:00pm - succubus logged out ""] seriously..if that were true...i would have left you long ago... you are simply not counting trips less than a week in length.. |
______________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 12:02pm - sacreligion ""] I stayed at a friend's house outside of Charleston, SC over the summer for like a week. The drives down and back wear on you but it's worth it for the 70 degree ocean water. He lived like 10 or 15 minutes from Angel Oak which was probably one of the more ridiculous things I've ever seen. I could build the sickest tree fort there. |
______________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 12:05pm - sacreligion ""] [img] yeah, those "branches" are the size of some of the biggest trees you'll see around here. |
___________________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 12:06pm - MillenialKingdom ""] That should be an album cover. |
_______________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 12:07pm - the_reverend ""] carina: I'm taking a vacation of more than just a weekend. |

_______________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 12:55pm - the_reverend ""] ic, you want to kidnap me. |
_________________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 1:37pm - Conservationist ""] Hmm... not a bad idea... you would be subjected to 24-7 old school death metal. Might be healthy. |
______________________________ [Feb 23,2009 1:46pm - Lamp ""] There is a billboard on 95 south in South Carolina that says "Victory is great but honor is even greater, come with us to celebrate your proud southern heritage" or something to that effect. It's one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. |
____________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 1:55pm - W3 @ work ""] I don't know I always thought the stripclub signs were the best part of the carolinas what the fuck is again Lamp Cafe Risque or some shit like that. it was so weak, they made us choose between a meal or 2 drinks |
______________________________ [Feb 23,2009 1:59pm - Lamp ""] I've seen the billboards for that place, never stopped in though. The 95 corridor is like another planet compared to the rest of the south. It's a barren wasteland that doesn't go through anything. You see a lot more cool shit on 85 or 20 or 40 than on 95. |
__________________________________ [Feb 23,2009 2:01pm - niccolai ""] Florida is the gayest state in the US. enjoy your new retirement buddies. |

You see a lot more cool shit on 85 or 20 or 40 than on 95. yeah when ever I've travelled down there I've only taken 95, I forget the HW that you can take that's the backroad from VAbeach area to NC but that had some cool on it. But that was always my friend driving so I usually just slept. |
_____________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:25pm - the_reverend ""] 24hrs before we leave! |
___________________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:30pm - MikeOvDecrepitvde ""] Haven't been to Florida in ages. Saw Disgorge (Cali) and Kvlt of Azazel down there years ago. Probably the greatest memory I have of Florida. |
_____________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:32pm - the_reverend ""] Carina went last year with her family. I haven't been since 1996. |
_______________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:34pm - DestroyYouAlot ""] Aaron, I promise to try not to break the board again while you're gone. Double pinky swear. |
___________________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:34pm - MikeOvDecrepitvde ""] Whereabouts in Fl? If I was to go back down there now, I'd opt to just chill out in Miami. |
_____________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:37pm - the_reverend ""] well... the hotel has wifi and I will have my laptop with me. I was also going to see about staying online while driving so I can get google maps on the drive. |
_____________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:39pm - the_reverend ""] we are going to melbourne beach. I can't believe the deal that carina got on the hotel. http://doubletree1.hilton.com/en_US/dt/hotel/MLBBODT/index.do it's basically the same price as my hotel at MDF. |
_______________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:41pm - DestroyYouAlot ""] So basically what you're saying is go ahead and break stuff? |
______________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 3:53pm - boblovesmusic ""] according to the metal archives, there are two power metalish bands that originated in Melbourne hehe. |
_____________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 4:20pm - the_reverend ""] DYA: you have broken more things then I would like to admit. |
_______________________________________ [Mar 2,2009 4:53pm - DestroyYouAlot ""] Hahahaha... I really don't mean to, I just have this natural knack for straining software past its built-in limitations. I hope you at least got to iron out a few bugs from my barging around your intertubes. |

_____________________________________ [Mar 3,2009 10:32am - sacreligion ""] you should check out the beaches down the street from angel oak(you take a right off of a main road to get to angel oak, if you follow said main road straight it takes you to the beaches). The sand and water there is amazing and you get to see a large illustrate signas you're walking towards the beach that informs you of all the animals in the water that can kill you. It's pretty awesome haha. When I went there was a hurricane headed towards us so there was this ridiculous riptide that easily took my friends and i 100 ft. from where we were if your feet left the ground. good cardiovascular exercise. |
