Whoa, wait a second. First of all, it's def not "Starring CSDO". This is our cd release party, and CSDO is on the bill, and we're happy about that. Second, it's not some random tuesday night, it's a Saturday night, and a great opportunity for us to release our debut album. Our fans are psyched, and so are we.
Now, who got kicked off of this? And why?!?! fuck what these people say....we're stoked to be playing with all of these bands!

You should've went... Lots of slamming and stagediving. We sold a lot of merch. And, Age Of End sold a lot of merch as well...
I had nothing to do with the band getting kicked off. They just couldn't do what they were asked to do... It's business. Nobody got a free ride on the show. Age Of End & CSDO were the headliners and both had to sell tickets also...

It's not pay to play... You get the tickets from the promoter and you sell them. This means the band has to do some work. We sold 50 tickets easy 'cause it's the Palladium.

When you sell the tickets that means you're doing work to get people to the show... Most of you would never do this. That's why you'll never get asked to play on any big shows. When we opened for the Misfits downstairs at the Palladium 2 years ago, we had to sell 100 tickets at $20.00. When we opened for Testament at the ADC Performance Center 2 years ago, we had to sell 75 tickets... When we played the New Jersey & Milwaukee Metal Fests, we had to buy tickets up front ($1500.00)... We sold them to friends of ours in those area's and made our money back.

I think CSDO and Rocko's is missing the whole "If bands are selling all the tickets, wtf is the promoter doing?" presentation point.
There are plenty of bands around here who do just fine for themselves without having to play any ticket-selling shows, can support themselves when going on the road, and finance themselves like a business when it comes to merch, travel expenses, etc. I have no personal problems with either of you guys, but these bands have every right in the world to tell you that the way most promoters do business is wrong.
