If this show had been a year ago, it would not have ever been booked in Maine because it would have been impossible to draw enough people, and if I were in SYL (or who ever is in charge of booking their shows on their end) I would simply take the offer from the Palladium (assuming there was one) because down there there would be plenty of people that would go, maybe enough to play downstairs and keep in mind we're talking about a year ago, before they were on Ozzfest. And last I heard, vertigod did suck. |

Despite Impaled being one of the best Carcass rip offs ever, ENGORGED is better, even before "where monsters dwell" came out. "White Line Nightmare" is so fucking rad that it's not even funny. Plus it's about Mad Max. "Cobra Rage" as well. Anything with samples of Destro and Cobra Comander and the Baroness is hands down fucking rad. Then we have where monsters dwell, the most perfect metal album ever. The only album that Ive ever felt I could say that anyone that thinks they like heavy music at all and doesnt like it is dumb. Everything on it is perfect. I just can't say that about anything by Impaled. The rock by all means, but their songs are just not as strong and their samples unfortunately bore me. I think song about pirates are cooler then songs about disecting people.
