Oopooth / High on Fire / Nachtmystium /r/ollcall?[views:17209][posts:112]the Palladium (Worcester, MA) - [high_on_fire][nachtmystium][opeth][randomshots] ______________________________________________ [Sep 22,2008 7:08am - BobNOMAAMRooney nli ""] sigh said:So apparently Nachtmystium dropped off the tour after the Worcester show. Wonder what went down. Stephen O'Malley's hipster black metal cock isn't going to suck itself. |

I think that might have something to do with them not being on this tour anymore... |

Aside from most of the crowd consisting of new age Opeth fans who only downloaded one album and brought their girlfriend along, I never thought some Opeth fans would be toughguy dolts.. GoatCatalyst was somewhat drunk at the end, and we were following him around. Apparently he kind of bumped into some chubby Opeth fanboy fat guy with glasses and the kid turned around and said smack about him and how he wanted to knock him out, and then nudged me on the back and said he hoped I was with him. I turned around and looked at him and he kept walking up the stairs. There's no point in wasting my time on these loser cunts who attend 90% of the palladium shows now. Seems like everytime I go there I'm urged to start a brawl with a bunch of kids. Now I just laugh it off. |
_______________________________ [Sep 22,2008 12:54pm - Yeti ""] i love being tall because all of the stupid fucking antics that go on with the crowd, like the above mentioned incident, all happen below my sight line. i just blissfully move along in the cloud line. |

_______________________________ [Sep 22,2008 1:03pm - aril ""] Yea man, I was probably a foot taller than that douchebag kid. It was kind of funny how retarded these kids can be. I could always see you down there headbanging in the clouds, because you're a fellow Yeti. |
___________________________________________ [Sep 22,2008 1:11pm - mikeofdecrepitude ""] During Heir Apparent some douche decided to grab the back of my shirt collar in an attempt to stretch it out. After wresting around I had no choice but to punch the kid in the face. Sucked that it had to go down while I'm trying to enjoy an Opeth set. I don't get what's up with these new fans and their shitty antics. I guess that's the product of listening to Korn and Lamb of God for many years. |
_______________________________ [Sep 22,2008 1:15pm - aril ""] It's quite interesting watching an Opeth mosh pit. I remember seeing them years ago when no body moshed, people talked during their songs, and the fans weren't douchebag kids. The next show I'm going to will be Amon Amarth / Ensiferum / Belphegor. Let's see if these kids will be just as bad. |
____________________________________ [Sep 22,2008 2:03pm - inject-now ""] opeth moshpit lolzzzzzz blake nachtmystium throwing the bucket sounds awesome hahaha i was up there with the crown and krisiun years ago and a similar situation happened only with beer bottles. the bassist of the crown was a really fun guy. |
_______________________________ [Sep 22,2008 2:07pm - aril ""] so wait, ryan.. you broke your ankle? how'd that happen? also, does that mean that when you're opening for Watain, you're going to be on crutches or in a wheelchair? |
___________________________________ [Sep 22,2008 2:16pm - Paul CNV ""] Hey Ryan, thanks for the demo! It slays for sure... Listening to it right now! Impressive! Good to see a band like this in New England!!! Good to see some people I have not seen in awhile at this gig. |
