MAYBE 20 people were up front for them. They played a lot of new stuff, so many didn't know what was going on. They were approachable and easy to chat with after. I'd probably see them again.

I still have images from Full Blown Chaos playing Vorhees Complex floating around in my brain. I saw them twice before and really wasn't that into it. For some reason, they seemed more personable and into rippin' it up monday. My left ear is still shot thanks to Exodus.

the_reverend said:wait... so 6 bands paid $750 to play? that's 37.5 tickets from each band.
total $4500
which is probably about what a night of this package costs.
any at the door was $20 per head gravy.
plus the bar proceeds.

I'm sorry, but that's highway fucking robbery from this club. in order for all the bands not to loose money, that's 225 pre-sale tickets that would need to be sold. like the bands or not, that's is ripping off artists. I know artists need a fire lit under their asses to get them out there and promoting shows/their band, but $750 is a stiff fucing fire.

That is nothing compared to some of the nationals at the Sheltah, Most shows, The openers had to sell like 50 tix, granted no one ever did. Serge's theory on that was that, the more they were asked to sell, The more they would actually sell. I mean if you are asked to sell like 30 and only sell 10 that sucks, But if you are asked to sell 50 and end up selling that 30, that is great. So he usually took the number of tix each band had to sell and doubled it.
